If Tevos had found Liselle instead of Aria….))

A favorite snack. While the idea is exciting, the excitement doesn’t last long, because, well, her mother is a high-ranking government official. She could have one of Jupiter’s moons if she so desired.
”Aria,” Tevos whispers harshly, “What are you doing? You have to sit down!” The small asari chides, worried she’ll get in trouble, too, if Aria does. And that cannot have that happen. Her record would be ruined!
Aria’s piercing blue eyes glared in the direction of Tevos, her nose wrinkling with annoyance. “Don’t you have a dumb book to read?” she snaps in a considerably loud tone of voice, her eyes narrowing. “Just ‘cause you’re the teacher’s little pet doesn’t mean you’re the boss of me.” The ability to read others came natural to Aria. Over a short period of time, she had observed her fellow classmates enough to determine their character– she concluded that Tevos was nothing more than a people pleaser.
Tevos’s brow lowered and her small foot stamped under her desk. “I am the boss of you, didn’t you hear the teacher? I have to watch over you."
She watches the other asari with a frown, "Come sit down, or you’ll get us both in trouble.”
Tevos’s chin raises when she hears her name and her lips part in silent protest, her gaze flicking to T’Loak for just a moment. She wants to go outside today - it’s so nice, but now….
It’s like she’s being punished! Mrs. T’Gaht is free - she could easily watch Aria while Ms. T’Sanna is in her meeting and Tevos sits under her favorite tree and reads.
Despite her unhappiness, Tevos slides into her desk again, removing her finger from inside the book, which had been holding her page. She glances at Aria before finding her place again.
Ms. T’Sanna can see Tevos’ apparent dislike about the situation but tries to lighten the child’s mood. “I’ll make sure you get your favorite food snack tomorrow.” Without another word, she turns, motioning the rest of her class out of the room.
Still sitting at her desk, Aria cranes her neck, peering down the hallway to make sure Ms. T’Sanna was definitely gone. Once it was safe, she gets up and wanders over to the cubbies, muttering under her breath.

Tevos appreciates Aria’s touch more than she could ever verbalize. The councilor’s grip on her bondmate tightens and she rests her cheek against Aria’s shoulder,In response to the messages Aria is sending Tevos, she responds with those of love and appreciation. She is grateful that Aria exposes herself in melds like she does, not only because knowing a crime boss better than anyone is not something everyone could say, but because being loved by one is all the more rare. She’s told Aria time and time again that she doesn’t need to make herself seem vulnerable during each meld—that Tevos knows it makes the queen of Omega a bit uncomfortable to be that exposed.
She wants her to be comfortable.
It was more unfamiliar than it was uncomfortable. Regardless of that factor, Aria wants to give every part of herself to Tevos, wants the councilor to know she’s the only one who would ever witness the softer side of the galaxy’s most notorious crime boss. Aria’s own heart begins pounding at the intensity of Tevos’ love and appreciation and can’t help but begin to place soft, affectionate kisses along the side of her bondmate’s face.
‘It’s alright…’ she whispers in the meld. ‘…it’s alright.’
Tevos’s eyelids lower, and she leans into the kisses she’s receiving without a sound.
She cannot deny that she enjoys when Aria acts like this, if not only because they are much less likely to fight. Tevos rests her chin on T'Loak’s shoulder, pulling her bondmate closer.
Class is dismissed for recess. Tevos smiles excitedly as her classmates rush to the door, and leans into her desk, head and neck twisted uncomfortably. She peers into the cubby, looking for the book she’s been reading.
It’s an old folktale - something about a princess and a mischievous thief that she falls in love with. Her smile widens when she spots it and she pulls it out, cradling it to her small chest as she steps in line behind the last child. She watches as one particular girl shoves her way to the front of the line.
Tevos huffs, shaking her small head as she watches the other asari fuss, and the teacher is distracted by lost keys to really pay much attention.
It’s not like this doesn’t happen every day.
“Aria!” The teacher snaps.
“Yes, Ms. T’Sanna.”
“What did I say about pushing others in line?”
The small asari just rolls her eyes, which never got a good reaction from the teacher. “Don’t roll your eyes at me, young lady!” Ms. T’Sanna scolds before pointing to a desk. “Aria, you are to stay here for the entire recess period. I have a parent conference to attend so no funny business. Tevos will let me know if you start causing more trouble.” T’Sanna smiles warmly at the asari whose head is practically in the book she’s reading.
“Whatever.” Aria grumbles.

When Tevos and Aria were coming up with names for Liselle, Aria kept saying things like “Skid-Mark” and “Mistake” just to piss Tevos off.
She wasn’t expecting Tev to eventually play along.
“Citadelle”, “Biotica"…. ))
Tevos appreciates Aria’s touch more than she could ever verbalize. The councilor’s grip on her bondmate tightens and she rests her cheek against Aria’s shoulder,It won’t happen. Tevos is too stubborn. Her entire body is trembling and her gut is hiccuping, but she refuses to openly cry.Instead, she plants gently kisses along her bondmate’s clothed shoulder, relaxing at her touch. “Thank you.” She says quietly, her voice…
